Being triggered is so annoying...
It's frustrating. I want to explain myself clearly, but my body freaks out and I start crying. It gets so hard to speak. I don't do it on purpose.
My therapist has pointed out how easily triggered I am when it comes to my parents and said I should talk about my trauma and process it more outside of sessions, specifically with my sister since she also experienced it to help make it less severe. But to me, that feels like rumination which would make me feel worse. It feels like complaining about something you can't change, which is worthless in my eyes. It's just harder when you're still stuck in that traumatic situation/environment...

please dont...life is hard but letting others affect you like this just isnt worth it :( talking to your friends is probably the best choice to try and see whats happening bc living in silence is probably gonna be the reason you start to feel worse. trust me. if you end it. ill never be the same. youre my happiness. please.
