This is a Whole AKB lesson.

Technically the kami 7 is the top 7 of the current election/group. (if you watched pd 48 you may have heard J girls say that as the 7th position was called.)
The term Kami 7 (God 7) describes the 7 most popular members among all 48-groups, AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48 and STU48. The term have its origins in Skirt, Hirari, when 7 members were chosen for Senbatsu.
But when used similar to what i did it means the top 7 from the first 2 elections pretty much recognized as THE Kami's.
like if someone says she is my Kami oshi that is the fav member from these 7
Yukirin will often be given status as an og kami

The legends are like Sashirara, Jurina, Minami who were graduated at that time yet appeared in the "covid sucks" video :) ofc the Kamis are legends also but they have super status. (fyi this is also why there was pushback on Sakura as center of AKB48's 38th single Kibouteki Refrain with Watanabe Mayu. This was the first time, management chose an HKT48 member as center for an AKB48 single. ) since 4 graduated members of the Kamis were also in the song.

The only member of the elite level of golden era member's who was not in the video is Mayu. After graduating her health broke down and retired from the industry. ( She is hyper best friends with Yukirin and the level of hope that she attends Yuki's graduation is unreasonable(she is so popular that they could prob sell out the Tokyo dome if she did}) Many consider Mayu to be the perfect idol.

Yamamoto Sayaka, Miyawaki Sakura and Muto Tomu are the only members who ranked in their first Senbatsu Election participation (Muto and Miyawaki in 2012, Yamamoto in 2011) and never experienced a decrease or total drop out of rank. all 3 were kami.

HKT was formed July 2011 she is first gen and they debut in March 2012 her first election was June 2012
