Welcome everyone to the 5th game of the event “Pin the tail”. This game will be played in your team DM.

But first lets learn another fact :
Ring-tailed lemurs are recognized as the most popular lemur species worldwide, however it’s estimated that there is roughly only 2,000 individuals in the wild. This is due to habitat destruction & the exotic pet trade.

How To Play
•There will be 3 rounds with each round getting progressively harder. In each round you will be given two shaped images of a giraffe with a missing tail.

•How do you pin the tail? Well with each image there is a grid (which will not be shown) as you may or may not know, grids are made up of squares. I will tell you how many squares there are for the images, your teams job is to “pin” the tail in the correct square (or just as close as possible).
So for the above image, the grid that we overlaid it with has 32 squares to “pin” the tail, your team basically just needs to envision the squares and guess which square the tail needs to be. So the correct answer for this example would be square 12.

•The team that does the best with guessing closest wins.
The game can be played from 5/23 - 5/25 KST. Don’t feel like you have to play all 3 rounds in one sitting, the game can be played throughout the given days. When ready to play just let me know in your team DM and I’ll provide you with the first two images, once you give your final guesses you can then move onto the next round. Answers will be announced at the end once everyone is finished.

1. how is the example above 32 squares? I counted at least 36 (6x6)
2. where do u begin to count to get the right square?

The results for Pin the Tail is here, but first, here’s a fact for you:

The Kordofan Giraffe is one of two subspecies of giraffe that is listed as Critically Endangered. There are around 2,300 individuals living in the wild, with only 38 individuals being alive in Garamba National Park. This is due to poaching for their skin that is used in luxury goods and their meat.
