there's allegations again just allegations that Bang PD saw the rise of Aespa and were afraid or wanted them "destroyed" or "crushed" depending on one's translation of korean...thus he turned to MHJ to assist him with that

This happened to me some odd years ago. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. I've just went with it and keep to mainly SNSD nowadays. Constantly checking out new material can be overwhelming, especially when you're not interested
