Some welcome surprises like Butterfly, Woowa, RPM and Boogie Up
Some expected like KTL, Kick It and especially Birthday

I was sure RPM would please u I didn't abandon it, although at first i wasn't feeling it that much.

Teddy been inconsistent af for me lately
Like I loved DKWTD, and Eun Jiwon from Sechskies had a solo release which was Teddy's finest work in recent times



But then stuff like Birthday or KTL reminds me of Solo in how half assed it is

Tbh, Blackpink's 2018 album was stronger, KTL is watered down ver of D4, which is why Blackpink songs aren't higher this year. After two songs from Seungri (R.I.P), D4 was song of the year for me. Birthday was surprise, i was quite anxious of what Somi could even pull off as solo but Somi and Teddy combo worked out surprisingly well.

Though I do have some guilty pleasure songs there that don't fit it at all like UHSN's popsicle. I haven't even heard anyone saying they like the song, but i'm obsessed.

I kinda agree with Don't Know what to do, it's quality BP had in 2018, but I still prefer Kill This Love and Kick It- they are bit messy but they the good parts are better than Don't know what to do's. I always disliked Forever Young, it's probably my least fav Blackpink song after Boombayah so that's that

It does make lot of sense that this was the outcome of Somi/Teddy, so idk why i was being anxious, i should have just trusted in Teddy's expertise (still think Somi would been better off with IZY though)
