They were popular but only MaRiMi was more famous than them 😄
Maybe they will come back with a new line up

@Foxia They didn't wanted to disband at first but Rinko's death was too hard for the members to stand it. If Rinko didn't suicide I am sure they would still be active and Akemi would have never had that "scandal". She was really affected by her best friend death ... So maybe Akemi would still be part of MaRiMi. Actually when Mariya and Rino decided to reform the group, they asked Akemi to come back but she refused. As a result a new member, Yumi joined MaRiMi instead of Akemi, who didn't wanted to join again. Tenpenko was most popular than MaRiMi at first but when they released their collaboration (as part of their first single) a lot of new fans began to stan MaRiMi. (Because of Mariya's visual ... Hummm)

Tenpenko (known as てんぺんこ) was a pop/rock female fronted music group of six members formed in January 2013. At their debut, there was five members but a sixth member joined in August 2014. They were under the label Success Records and under the agency Star mine.
Each member was playing a instrument and had an official color. They debuted officially on 18th September 2013 with a first sigle called Sweet Love / Happy Onna (feat. MaRiMi). Their first album "Memory #1" was released in July 2014 and reached second place in top albums charts on its first week of sales. The band consisted of a guitarist, a drummer, one person who played synthetizer, an accoustic guitarist (she was also a bassist) and two main singers. They collaborate with a lot of other artists like MaRiMi, Girls10 and duo Ayano. Members were Heather Kondo, Flore Bonbon, Kurumi Jinda, Nana Tomaraka, Miya Washieuchi and Rinko Juichi. The band disbanded in March 2017, one year exactly after Rinko's disappearance. Tenpenko was really famous during their active years and a lot of people dreams that they'll come back in the future. They released a total of eight singles, two mini-albums, two albums and eight special albums.
