So, as I have finished Book One of The Suffering of Love, I thought that I would build character profiles and also reveal their faces.
Just a heads up, the characters faces are all completely fiction and in no way does it mean that I think that these real people will be actually playing these characters for real and are just face reveals for my characters of this particular story.

Chiharu
Chiharu’s Profile: The first character we come across in the story. She is Momoko’s best friend and is also a main character.
Chiharu is a friendly, up-beat and down to earth person.
She can be very naive as it proves when she is always going back to Kenji, but she has a heart of gold and she is also very intelligent.
In ‘The Suffering of Love’, she has two official love interests, the first one is Kenji and the second one is Yui.
She is also pretty deluded as everyone else (even Kenji) can see that Yui is severely attracted to her, yet, she doesn’t realize it until later on in the story.
Chiharu has a very dark past where her Mother was brutally murdered in cold blood. She also has an older Brother called Hideko who also witnessed this same tragedy.
Chiharu is Pansexual.
Momoko
Momoko’s Profile: Chiharu’s best friend and also the eventual Girlfriend to Angela. She is also a Main character.
In ‘The Suffering of Love’, Momoko actually goes through a lot and is the only fully Gay Female character of the story.
She isn’t as cheery of a character as what Chiharu is, but she does love all of the people she cares about and will do anything to protect them.
She took up Martial Arts and that is also where she reunited with, Angela, her eventual Girlfriend.
Momoko has had to endure heartache for most of her life which has somewhat made her a closed off person for relationships and when she starts dating Angela, she starts opening up a lot more.
Momoko has no siblings.
Momoko is a Lesbian.
Aina
Aina’s Profile: Aina is from Oslo, Norway and quickly befriends both Chiharu and Momoko. She is also a main character.
Aina is a very shy girl but don’t let that deceive you of what a powerful character she actually is.
She had worked extremely hard to go to Japan as her Parents were very hesitant on letting her go, but in the end, convinced them to finally let her go.
She is the most accepting non-lgbtq character in the story (though there was a time where she thought she had started to be attracted to girls, but that attraction had faded out) and has been known to give certain other characters like Yui, some heartfelt and valuable advice.
Aina is Straight.
Kenji
Kenji’s Profile: Chiharu’s Boyfriend. He is also a main character of the story.
Kenji is a very arrogant and egotistical character. He thinks he is better than everyone else and believes that Chiharu is lucky to deserve him.
In ‘The Suffering of love’, he intentionally ‘outs’ Momoko to the whole school after an argument from the two.
He does, however, feel guilty about doing this though and vows to mend his ways.
Kenji is also a ‘two-timer’ and is known to be dating 2 girls at the same time.
Kenji is Heterosexual.
Angela
Angela’s Profile: Angela is a Carribean-Irish girl who lived in New York from most of her life. She is also a Main character of the story.
Angela moved to Japan to get away from her terrifying and abusive Boyfriend; Jacob.
Angela is a complete survivor and has gone through so much.
In her past, she had met Momoko through her 8th Birthday party and the two girls became really close. So close to the fact that they had got caught which lead to Momoko moving back to Japan.
However, when Angela moved to Japan, after a while she was reunited with Momoko and they started dating not long after.
Angela is Bisexual but with a preference for Girls.
Jacob
Jacob’s Profile: Jacob is the most horrifying character in ‘The Suffering of Love’. He is also a main character.
Jacob is American.
Jacob is Angela’s long-term abusive ex-boyfriend.
He not only beats her, but he also manipulates and controls her and also has a history of sexual violence against Angela.
He is the one character who you would want to stay away from at all costs and unfortunately, Angela just gets the short end of the stick.
Jacob is extremely homophobic and when Angela misses Momoko and sometimes talks about her, Jacob hates this and grows to also hate Momoko because of it.
Jacob is the type of character where you think he can’t be real because of what he does and how he does it, but the fact is, there are people like him all over the planet.
Jacob is Straight.
Hideko
Hideko’s Profile: Hideko is Chiharu’s older Brother and also becomes Aina’s Boyfriend. He is a main character but doesn’t appear as much.
Hideko is a really nice, intelligent, down to earth guy who adores his Sister.
He is also a bit of a geek.
Hideko doesn’t like Kenji for his Sister, mainly because he treats her like garbage and wants to see Chiharu happy.
Hideko is Straight.
Yui
Yui’s Profile:
Yui becomes Chiharu’s, Aina’s and Momoko’s friend. She is a main character of the story.
Yui had also dated Kenji until she found out that she was one of the girls he had two-timed.
After she is no longer with Kenji, Yui starts to develop deep feelings for Chiharu to the point where she is ultimately in love with her.
Yui is a kind, gentle and down to earth person and would never intentionally hurt anyone.
Because of her love for Chiharu, she starts a rivalry with Kenji to be with Chiharu.
There are times in ‘The Suffering of Love’ where Yui seeks advice from both Aina and Momoko to learn how to deal with the Chiharu and Kenji situation.
Yui is Pansexual.
Aiichi
Aiichi’s Profile: Aiichi is Yui’s younger Brother. Aiichi is a Main/Sub character of the story.
Aiichi is Gay and also has a Boyfriend. He loves his Sister very much and always wants her to be happy.
When Yui confesses to him about Chiharu, he supports her and gives her invaluable advice.
Aiichi isn’t in the story that much but when he is, he makes a huge positive impact on Yui’s life.
Aiichi is Gay.
Alesha
Alesha’s Profile: Alesha is a Family-Friend to Angela’s Family. She is a Main character.
Alesha is Black-Carribean.
Alesha also lives in Japan and took in Angela when she needs somewhere to stay.
Alesha is at first not accepting to Angela dating Momoko but she does manage to be ok with it, that is until she becomes irritated by it. She becomes so annoyed by Angela being with Momoko that she eventually hates it and believes it to be a sin and disgusting, this makes her despise Momoko in the process.
She thinks Angela deserves better and by ‘better’, she means a ‘Man’.
This also means that she prefers Angela’s ex-boyfriend; Jacob to be with Angela than Momoko and will try anything to break up Angela and Momoko and make Momoko’s life a living hell.
Alesha is Straight.
Jennifer
Jennifer’s Profile: Jennifer was Angela’s best friend back in New York. She is a sub character of the story.
Jennifer is an Indian-American Girl who really cared for Angela, especially in her dark times.
Angela was comfortable enough to tell Jennifer that she was into girls and Jennifer was extremely accepting.
There isn’t really much to tell about this character other than the fact that she may appear in a future storyline.
Jennifer is Straight.
Nanako
Nanako’s Profile: Nanako is one of Momoko’s long-time friends. She is a sub character of the story.
Like Masato, Nanako is only in ‘The Suffering of Love’ for a couple of scenes.
She also starts dating Masato.
Nanako is Bisexual.
Masato
Masato’s Profile
Like Nanako, Masato is one of Momoko’s long-time friends, although he’s not as close to Momoko as Nanako is.
He’s only in ‘The Suffering of Love’ for a couple of scenes like Nanako is.
Masato starts dating Nanako.
Masato is also Asexual.
