My ex wanted us to marry Blackpink's Rose

You need to look for that kind of person :sanapray:
I wish i live in the hood were all the boy want to do is be a gangster or like NBA young boy. No one get me in real world that why i'm on here. Also i not looking for some that crazy about them i never said "i marry one of them".

to me, k-pop is just a music genre. i don't think it would affect my relationship at all, because it's just some sort of a hobby and i wouldn't put it over an actual person who i've decided to spend a part of my life with. it's definitely unhealthy to care about people who aren't aware of your existence more than about a person who you're with. that being said, i'm not in a relationship at this moment but if i had a girlfriend or a boyfriend i'd assume they have some hobbies and things like their favourite music genres as well, because that's normal lol and it wouldn't bother me in any way. so well, i don't think me being a k-pop fan would have an impact on my relationship if i were in one.

I know they would most likely assume. Ofc you like Asian pop you're asian!
Which I hate to think society has come down to assumptions and stereotyping.

Relationship wise. My music taste has effected relationships I've had before.
like it either breaks them or makes them worse in general.

if the person your with makes you chose over a music genre and them then maybe they aren't the right fit for you. however, if your an obsessive fan with your kpop faves and is constantly putting a relationship with a group who doesn't know who you are over a person you have an actual relationship with then that's on you. if I had a girlfriend I wouldn't let kpop get in the way of our relationship progressing.

In March we will be together for 6 years already. When we first met, he already knew I watched a lot of anime. He didn't have problems with that, he just wanted to watch DragonBall Z with me and I showed him a lot of other stuff.
When I was getting into Kpop, he thought it was just a phase but he let me do my own thing (I bought albums and went to BTS concert 1 time and to Monsta X two times). Sometimes we talk about kpop idols in a serious way (getting bullied, idols enlisting etcetera) and I think that's really cool. He respects my taste of music and it's also like that the other way around.

(ALSO: He likes Blackpink, I like Twice and he doesn't get WHY I DO :jisoosmh:)
