It was beautiful! I went to the ww1 memorial at your request and I loved it.

I'm glad you liked it! Sometimes I forget how cool some parts of the city are just because I hate having to live here xD

Did you see the Poppy flowers underneath the walkway at the museum? That is my personal favorite part.

I was in the convention center a lot of the time, so I didn’t see much outside of downtown. But it was very nice!

Yes, I saw them. They were very pretty!

Ah, right. I've been there a lot for Comic Con and some other things too I believe. You mentioned you were there for competitions, but competitions for what?

It’s a program called Destination Imagination, or DI for short. Students ranging from 3rd grade to 12th grade form teams of up to 7 based on age. Every year, they pick from 6 different challenges, each involving a performance aspect. The theme for each challenge changes every year. This is called their “Main” or “Central” challenge.

Also, at each tournament, the team competes in an instant challenge, where they are given a challenge (for example, building a tower out of these materials) and a few minutes to solve it. I was attending the global competition, which started on the 22nd and ended on the 25th.
