Pink Punch (also called Pinky Punchy (in Japanese : ピンクパンチ)) is a female rock band under Dango Records and formed by former Taiyou no Musume member Sakino, former Girls10 members Yuko and Candice and former Tenpenko members Miya and Nana. It has six members plus one special member, who illustrates their CD covers and is a choreographer. Every member has a role and all the girls participate for the composition and the lyrics even if the main composer is Sakino. The 6-member group was announced in July 2018 but released their first and only album in March 2019. Their first album is called "Pink Punch the first album - Glow" and contains some original songs but the most of the songs inside are covers from other artists. A second work will be released sometime in Fall 2019. All members have a stage name that they use as a Pink Punch member, Sakino is Kisami, Yuko is Yuuchan, Candice is canna, Natsuko is Nako, Miya is Miyari and Nana is Naachan. Natsuko is Nana and Miya's friend and she is a kind of DJ in the group for some songs. The group debuted with two title songs, Kurayami and Baby, Don't Cry. Both songs are dark-theme songs even if the second title is a little bit more comforting than the first one. Kurayami music video is set in a dark forest in the night and in a mansion and all the members have to confront to their worst fear. Baby, Don't Cry tells the story of a depressed girl that want to commit suicide but she is helped by her friends to feel better. The music that we can hear in the individual teasers for Baby, Don't Cry is Pink Punch's Anthem and the one for Kurayami's teasers is Glow. A special music video for Sakino's solo Sawachi no Kawa was revealed in July 2019, it was filmed in Japan and in Coloread (for the river part). In August 2019, new teasers are revealed to announce their second work. It will be a mini-album and fans thinks that it will contain their songs "Believe in me" and "Reversed=Universe" that they often play during their lives and mini-concerts. In November 2019, it was announced that the group will be releasing a new album in February 2020 along with a repackage version of their debut album. Pink Punch will be having their first regional tour in January 2020. However, Yuko will not be present, she will be visiting her family in Japan for a month. Kurumi (ex-Tenpenko member) will replace her at the synthesizer.
