I've been watching and seeing army call YouTube salty and haters towards bts.

YouTube has never been a kpop hater, they let snsd win a yt award. They put kpop on the yt rewind.

And people complain about why does bts views get removed yet not blackpinks.

Think about it.

Blackpink sell 150k albums so there (true) fandom is in the hundreds of thousands. There streaming skills wouldnt exactly be mass produced.

Bts sell 1.5+million albums. So there views would be much more mass produced. This means that majority of bps views are real views and not mass streaming. Whereas bts has that huge fandom.

Bts arent the only group who got views frozen and removed it happens all the time us kpop fans have been moaning about this for ages.

Yet it's all some conspiracy just cause its bts.. well did you ever stop to think the views are actually fake and YouTube are doing their job like their supposed to :O

Cause you know they are a multi billion dollar business running for many years and that maybe just maybe certain fans are using incorrect methods to gather higher views ? And they arent a bunch of accounts from fangirls streaming all day and night cause they dont wanna do their homework?

Anyways.

Stream boy with luv.

I don't get the conspiracy theories either cause youtube have any reason to be against some kpop groups like BTS and support others like BP. Besides views getting deleted and them freezing is thing that happens everytime when popular video is realized. I want to bang my head on table everytime someone says youtube is against kpop group and rigged cause the mv has 100k likes and only 50k views or sth like that. That's how it works, views don't update real time and bot views get deleted. We have been over this so many times. Though I only think why this is coming up more is cause Armies are such big fandom with lot of social media presence.

It really doesn't make sense, they even argued with YT itself on twitter  But yeah, it happens to most groups and i think it's just sillyto go after YT over views

well won’t deny that getting the most/ton of views does become news, it was in japan (today i heard BTS BWL view news from a non-kpop friend), but streaming is still a controversial topic yes

I can fully understand the frustration regarding having views deleted - especially when you have been streaming and trying to help out (not to the extent that some claim, missing school/work/feeding and bathing themselves etc, because that's just...insanity) because it's happened to me/my fandom even when trying to casually stream old SHINee videos. No lie.

The thing that a lot of ARMY that are frustrated with the views being deleted/likes being deleted don't seem to understand is that it DOES happen to everyone, not just them. A portion of those that express this and charge forward in what seems to be a war against a platform that (let's be completely honest and real here) provides them with so much access to BTS; BTS: Burn The Stage, BTS' Bombs, BTS' music videos and teasers and behind the scenes footage, BTS' dance practices, BTS' Vlives from other users that have uploaded them, ENG subs from other users that have uploaded them etc. While yes, Dailymotion, Vlive, and other video platforms also have some of these things uploaded, it's usually not in this quantity or accessability as it currently is through YouTube - so why so many are trying to downplay YT and clown them, act as if they are insignificant is completely beyond me.

BigHit would never jeopardize their relationship with YT, because they are fully aware how large their international fanbase is, and how to connect quickly and best with them - Twitter, Instagram, and most importantly YouTube. It's partially how they were able to grow such a fanbase into such a massive body, and continues to feed said fanbase. I can't imagine they would be so ignorant as to put tensions between their company and artists, and YouTube (especially since YT is owned by Google - another large American conglomerate that polices a large chunk of the internet and social services).

Now back to the view/likes issue.

As most here are aware, YT isn't "out to get" any company, corporation, individual Kpop fandom nor group, nor are they part of some crazy consipracy. They don't care about who breaks records (and if anything, they praise view records being broken even more, because it brings in more ad revenue for them and more investors to their site - more traffic = more money for them regardless of what video it comes from); what they do care about, however, are said investors on their site. Companies will invest money and place ads to bring YT revenue if views are high, but only if said views are legitimate and coming from real people that might want to purchase their product. The less "genuine" views (including real people not bots or programs, various people not people spamming a single video 100 times) the less likely they are willing to put their ad for their product on YT's platform, because why pay money if it's only going to reach a bot (not a real human that will buy it/use it) or a person that will see the ad 100 times because they are spam streaming? They want 100 individual people, not one that won't react differently each time the ad is seen.

ARMY and other fandoms/fans that have this unfortunate victim mentality and singling-out mentality when it comes to their views, products, mediaplay and the like really could afford to take a step back and consider angles that don't even involve BTS, BigHit, or the Kpop industry in the least, and could learn a thing or two from basic economics - supply and demand - and how marketing works in the real world. How businesses (including BigHit, a business) works in the real world. They are shielded by a very narrow bubble where it seems everything is some sort of attack on them or aimed at them negatively (and sometimes positively) when they are a drop in the ocean in both their industry as well as the economics of the world and how things work.

If there were more understanding individuals that would try not to take things like this so personally, the fandoms might benefit and have a little less "toxic" behaviors shining through to define their fandom. The unfortunate reality, though, is that a large portion of Kpop itself is marketed towards and aimed at pre-teens to young adults, the vast majority of which have not actually completed much schooling and have little to no knowledge of how the world around them works beyond what they see in their very limited hemisphere.

While this seems, currently, the most prevalent in ARMY, I can assure you they are just one of many fandoms and groups of fans that do this and are most definitely not the first nor last to look so ignorant and self-centered in their attempts to show how great their group is to the world.

I have no idea what they think those views even give or mean...

We got to 100 million quicker! So? Who cares! You just lost a week of your life you could have spent working and saving up enough money to buy a fucking album!

I mean I'll be completely honest (my bias of "omfg are you kidding" to the ARMY that are nuts - not including those of us that are normal and the silent majority I assume or at least hope), I understand the want to have something (even if it's insignificant) to brag with....

But....that being said, ARMY already have so many more significant things they can use for bragging rights with their group and their fandom? It makes no sense why they are so hung up on this one thing that (to them) should be insignificant in the big picture. But. Again, I get frustration and the want to be able to brag about it or be proud of it - but at what expense? When it's obvious it's not due to GP interest or legitimate views, but overzealous spamming from handfuls of individuals with multiple devices (that unfortunately proudly show videos of themselves committing the "non-organic/real views" that YT literally are deleting; why you would want to literally show yourself doing what they are saying they remove, the fake views aka the views that one person is getting through means they aren't supposed to, is beyond my comprehension), what is there to be proud of?

The logic is completely lost and it's unfortunate that the normal fans of the group and the group themselves, BTS, suffer for the ignorance displayed by these loud minorities.

Buying albums at least gives the boys more money...
Yes more money, and high chance at winning album of the year which will lead to them getting more fame which equals more endorsement sales and higher chance at having a comeback. Views never helped 4minute succeed.

Album sales are literally everything. Why else has suju survived all these years with low views and bad chart ranking. Hehe.

okay i see, i’m not that knowledgeable about that stuff
Then Streaming is still pretty useless and you could show them love by just loving them.
mm i don’t have an answer to that, some fans just think differently :/

I think, if you really want to stream, don't do it on YouTube but on Apple Music or Spotify. Especially since you can listen to the entire album and show it some love.

YouTube revenue is much lower compared to actual music streaming services, and doesn't allow charting on Billboard charts as far as I know, if you want to support them in that venture.

EDIT: Actually YouTube plays count... but very little since people are fully aware of inflated streams.

If I don't have the money to buy artists' albums, I listen (not zombie streaming) on Spotify.
